Job Summary
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, and take messages. Schedule patients, manage calendars, and coordinate surgical, infusion, and deposition procedures. Maintain patient charts, create forms and databases, and process reports, reimbursements, and authorizations. Conduct on-the-job training for new staff, direct work of others, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes. Track budgets, manage petty cash, and resolve billing concerns. Perform grant preparation and contract negotiations. Complete a three-month onsite training period followed by a part-time remote schedule with partial onsite requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 3 years of administrative support experience
- Proven experience working with the public
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in PC word processing
- Proficiency in spreadsheets
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Power Point
- Proficiency in MC Publisher software's
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be available for onsite work after 3 months of training
- Must be available for partial onsite work after training period
