Job Summary

Senior Clinical Research Scientist to support Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology with global evidence generation. You will run real-world evidence studies, develop and deliver high-quality scientific content (protocols, reports, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, podium presentations), manage cross-functional collaboration (Clinical, Biostatistics, Medical Affairs, Regulatory), oversee study budgets and contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to evidence strategy across pivotal studies, post-market surveillance, and registries. The role requires strong scientific writing, cardiovascular/electrophysiology knowledge, experience with clinical trials, regulatory guidelines, and publication standards, and will operate on a Flex/Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite in Irvine, CA.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical Science, Nursing, Biological Science, or closely related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct involvement in clinical research trials and scientific publications in a medical industry or related setting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong project management skills to balance multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with key partners across different time zones
  • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, Evidence Generation Strategy, and ICMJE standards
