Job Summary
Senior Clinical Research Informatic Analyst for the Alzheimer’s Disease Center leads data infrastructure building for BHCA, translating EMR data into analytical datasets, dashboards, and outputs to support RE-AIM/CFIR-guided aims. Responsibilities include designing/ executing queries in Epic (Clarity/Caboodle/FHIR), handling unstructured data for NLP, building reproducible pipelines, creating research-ready datasets, maintaining data dictionaries and study definitions, validating data, designing dashboards to track BHCA performance, and collaborating with biostatistics and implementation science teams. Acts as primary data contact for BHCA data needs and ensures timely, high-quality data for program decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience working with clinical or healthcare data
- Experience building datasets for research or operational reporting
- Experience developing dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools)
- Experience with data integrity, quality assurance, and validity of analyses
- Experience translating data into actionable insights to inform clinical or operational decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in informatics, data science, public health, biostatistics, or related field
- EPIC Systems Certification (preferred)
- Experience with electronic medical record data structures (preferably Epic)
- Experience supporting NLP or working with unstructured clinical data
- Experience in implementation science or clinical research workflows
- Experience using SQL, R, Python, Shiny, or similar
- Experience at the intersection of clinical care and research, with real-world clinical workflows
- Three (3) years of experience (preferred)
