Job Summary
Senior Clinical Psychologist role in the Specialist Medical Inpatient Services team at Western Health (Footscray Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria). Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment, treatment and care planning for patients with complex and chronic conditions; work within a multidisciplinary team; provide supervision to psychologists; contribute to service development, quality improvement and research; participate in education and training programs; and support leadership and strategic direction within the psychology team. Requires registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and AoPE, a minimum of 5 years’ experience, strong collaboration and communication skills, and ability to supervise clinicians or students; involvement in research and quality initiatives is encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and AoPE
- At least 5 years experience as a psychologist
- Experience supervising clinicians or students in clinical settings
- Strong skills in multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centred care
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
