Senior Clinical Psychologist – ASD Assessments

Job Summary
Lead clinician for ASD assessments across ASD diagnostic pathway delivering psychologist-led assessments for children and adolescents with a balance of face-to-face clinic work and remote working (1 day onsite in Balbriggan, 4 days remote). Conduct ADI-R interviews (virtual delivery supported), ADOS-2 assessments (face-to-face), cognitive assessments (WISC-V/WAIS), and integrate MDT input into a diagnostic formulation. Provide family feedback sessions and produce high-quality diagnostic reports. Collaborate with OT and SaLT colleagues and participate in clinical supervision and service development. Essential is Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, PSI Chartership, minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, formal ADOS-2 training, and demonstrable ASD assessment experience. Salary up to €110,000 per annum; permanent, full-time role with 80% remote working and one clinic day per week in Balbriggan.

- Doctorate or equivalent qualification in Clinical Psychology
- PSI Chartership (overseas qualifications must be validated with department of health)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
- Formal ADOS-2 training
- Experience completing ASD assessments independently
- Strong report-writing and diagnostic formulation skills
