Job Summary
Lead bid defense presentations and drive strategic planning for medium to large, multi-regional oncology studies while ensuring compliance with SOPs and policies. Set core project team objectives, manage cross-functional collaboration, and proactively monitor progress against contractual requirements to optimize speed, quality, and cost. Serve as the primary project contact for key customers, lead problem-solving efforts for study issues, and implement corrective action plans to ensure financial success. Manage risk contingencies and scope changes while maintaining strong relationships with business development representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life sciences or related field
- More than 7 years clinical research experience including at least 3 years project management experience
- Greater than 2 years of experience managing Global studies
- Therapeutic area knowledge in Oncology
- Knowledge of clinical trial conduct, and skill in applying applicable clinical research regulatory requirements i.e. ICH GCP and relevant local laws, regulations and guidelines, towards clinical trial conduct
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including very good command of English language
- Strong negotiation and customer management skills
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to understand customer needs
- Effective mentoring and training skills, fostering learning and knowledge sharing with colleagues
- Ability to work across geographies displaying high awareness and understanding of cultural differences
- May require occasional travel within Europe and the United States
