Job Summary
Partner with physician members and health professionals to schedule committee meetings, manage program calendars, and organize interdepartmental communications. Establish priorities with committee chairs to initiate program processes, maintain member profiles, and recruit representatives from medical specialty societies. Execute administrative tasks including reviewing documents for adherence to methodological standards, creating templates, and consolidating draft versions for committee review. Track action items from calls and meetings while supporting one or more ACR Committees and Commissions. Note that this role requires East Coast hours (8:30a–5:00p) and full-time status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years' related work experience
- Command of MS Word, Excel, and similar office software systems
- Detail oriented; active listening and strong keyboarding skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Organized, able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must work East Coast hours (8:30a - 5:0p)
- Must be self-motivated
- Must possess excellent time management skills
- Must be highly organized in an environment where shifting priorities are the norm
- Must have a reliable internet connection
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in an Association setting
- Experience with document editing
- Data extraction for supporting literature
- Experience with coordinating and organizing meetings
- Expertise with MS Word and Adobe Acrobat to format and edit documents for different stages of drafting, revision, and approval
- Ability to take notes and complete action items with limited supervision
- Follows all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), etc.)
