Job Summary

Senior Clinical Engineering Specialist manages day-to-day operations and support for imaging technologies at Norton Healthcare, providing focused imaging equipment maintenance and repair for modalities including Ultrasound, X-Ray, MRI and Fluoroscopic systems and Contrast Injectors. The role leverages tools for asset control and configuration, adheres to ISO quality procedures and the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), maintains required manufacturer certifications, and serves as a subject-matter expert and liaison to vendors, clinicians and physicians. Responsibilities include achieving service metrics, maintaining or exceeding performance standards, and pursuing manufacturer certifications as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent + five years repair/maintenance of complex clinical equipment
  • Without Associate Degree: Electronics or U.S. Military Biomedical equipment technology program + five years repair/maintenance of complex clinical equipment
