Job Summary
Senior Clinic RN in Hematology Oncology provides comprehensive nursing care in an ambulatory setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and education via direct and telehealth encounters. The role supports care coordination, collaborates with the health-care team, and serves in a coaching/mentoring capacity to staff. Responsibilities include adherence to nursing standards and regulatory requirements, plus involvement in quality assurance, process improvement, infection control, and staff development initiatives. Preferred credentials include ACLS, PALS, and national certification, with ambulatory nursing experience in a specialty clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or Associate's Degree in Nursing (AND) 4 years' experience as a registered nurse
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- National Certification in area of clinical practice
- Ambulatory nursing experience preferred in specialty clinic
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing with 4 years RN experience
