Job Summary
Senior Client Executive in Real Estate Banking accountable for soliciting and overseeing Commercial Real Estate clients, initiating strategic dialogue around financial and real estate credit needs, collaborating with underwriting on analysis/structure/documentation, facilitating discussions of Mortgage Backed Securities and Real Estate Investment Banking capabilities, cross-selling bank products, and assisting with client onboarding (AML and regulatory requirements). The role emphasizes direct client engagement with private sector and institutional clients in the local/regional area, primarily the New York market, and requires a seasoned professional with CRE lending expertise, strong sales/marketing skills, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in real estate lending with specific real estate market experience and knowledge working with private sector and institutional clients in the assigned market
- Undergraduate degree required
- Experience in underwriting and risk assessment for project financing that includes construction, acquisition and mini-perm financing
- Financial analysis capabilities that support secured and unsecured lending decisions
- Knowledge of commercial real estate project finance fundamentals
- Strong sales and marketing skill; experience in product cross selling of treasury, derivative, syndications and other standard bank products
- Highly motivated, independent worker within a team-oriented culture
