Job Summary
Senior Client Consulting Manager focused on portfolio strategy for credit/debit card portfolios with responsibilities spanning acquisition, activation, engagement, and spend optimization. Drives end-to-end lifecycle strategies, onboarding and retention journeys, campaign design and execution, and analytics forecasting. Requires deep payments/domain knowledge, stakeholder management, and advanced communication skills. Hybrid role based in Bengaluru, India.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+ years with a PhD
- 8-12 years in cards/payments, banking, or consulting with hands-on ownership of cards portfolio optimization, lifecycle programs, and campaign management
- 2-4 years of people management experience
- Experience with offer optimization, rewards strategy, merchant-funded offers, and partnerships
- Familiarity with credit risk fundamentals (underwriting policy, line management) and their interaction with spend growth strategies
- Deep understanding of credit/debit card economics (interchange, rewards liability, acquisition cost, NPV/CLV, revolve/repay dynamics) and spend drivers
- Practical knowledge of industry rules and guidelines (card network operating rules, compliance, data privacy, fair marketing practices) and their impact on strategy and campaigns
- Strong communication & influence skills; ability to craft executive-ready presentations and translate analytics into decisions
- Proven stakeholder management across product, marketing, compliance, and risk; cross-functional delivery experience
- Strong project management; ability to run multiple initiatives, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
