Senior Claims Specialist, Cyber

Job Summary
Analyze claim exposure, determine the proper course of action, and pursue claims to conclusion for cyber primary and excess cases, including first-party and third-party privacy liability claims. Set accurate and timely claim reserves, prepare coverage positions for manager approval, and validate indemnity and fee payments. Monitor assigned claims, develop resolution strategies, and attend mediation, arbitration, and other claim meetings as needed. Liaise with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and brokers while ensuring file setup accuracy with proper coding and documentation. Requires a claims adjuster license, 4-8 years of experience, and availability for occasional travel. This role is hybrid with three days in-office attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Claims adjuster license
- Valid adjusting licenses in required states and additional states as needed
- Minimum of 4-8 years claim adjusting experience
- Experience handling cyber primary and excess claims, including first party and third-party privacy liability claims
- Attain expert comfort level in remote and work from home virtual working practices and platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of individual and group performance metrics and KPIs
- Availability for occasional travel
- Team player who has a positive outlook, flexible, organized, efficient and timely
- Hybrid work with in office attendance 3 days a week
- Role based in NYC, Short Hills - NJ, Red Bank – NJ, Princeton – NJ, Alpharetta, or Chicago

- Experience handling media liability and technology errors and omissions claims
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote and SharePoint
