Senior Claims Specialist

Senior Claims Specialist handles complex Workers’ Compensation claims, confirming policy coverage, establishing reserves, and authorizing payments within limits. Responsible for investigating validity, coordinating return-to-work, managing subrogation and litigation, pursuing potential claim recoveries, and communicating status to customers and claimants. Works with case managers and attorneys to achieve cost-effective outcomes, adheres to state rules, and maintains professional relationships. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, MS Office proficiency, and ability to work independently and in a team. Education/experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum 3 years in claims, and active Workers’ Compensation license/certification; Self-Insured Certificate preferred. This is a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ.
