Job Summary
Manage highly complex workers' compensation claims involving significant financial exposure, legal intricacies, and extended life cycles. Conduct advanced investigations into coverage, compensability, and fraud, collaborating with the Special Investigations Unit and negotiating with third-party insurers for maximum recovery. Oversee medical case management for catastrophic injuries, review large medical bills, and develop comprehensive return-to-work strategies. Lead cross-departmental efforts to improve claims handling, mentor junior adjusters, and produce strategic reports to guide management decisions. This role requires a Texas All-Lines license and 7–10 years of high-exposure claims experience. Salary range is $72,800–$109,200. Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of claims handling experience, with high exposure to Workers' Compensation
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Associate in Claims (AIC), AIM, or CPCU designation preferred or ability to obtain
- Texas All-Lines license preferred
