Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to manage Idaho workers' compensation claims from inception through closure, including investigations to determine compensability, establishing reserves, coordinating medical treatment and return-to-work programs, handling litigated matters with defense counsel, evaluating exposure, negotiating settlements, and maintaining regulatory compliance while providing high-quality service.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience
- Experience handling lost-time, indemnity, and litigated workers' compensation claims
- Knowledge of Idaho workers' compensation laws and claim handling practices preferred
- Strong investigation, reserving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities
- Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications
