Senior Claims Attorney – Executive Liability Division

Handle an inventory of claim files by performing detailed analysis, evaluating coverage and liability, and issuing written coverage opinions to monitor all aspects of the file toward resolution. Develop and implement claim litigation and resolution strategies while providing information to underwriters and reinsurers on legal trends. Secure and analyze necessary information during investigations, attend arbitrations or mediations, and affect settlements or reserves within prescribed limits. Ensure claims payments are issued timely and accurately in compliance with statutes, regulations, and company policies. Work from the Schaumburg or Chicago office four days a week (Tuesday–Thursday) with one remote day flexibility.
