Job Summary
Lead the delivery of a market-leading claims advocacy service for a major strategic client, acting as the primary client contact and senior leader for complex claims across lines (including Canadian Casualty, Property, and E&O). Set claims strategy, align internal stakeholders, and engage with clients, brokers, and insurers to drive service excellence and long-term value. Build and maintain senior relationships, oversee the claims lifecycle, identify coverage opportunities, present clear positions to clients and insurers, and collaborate with broking and accounting teams to ensure accurate funding and timely payments. Develop the wider team, manage workload, stay abreast of market developments, and contribute to client strategy and renewals.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, law, economics, or engineering preferred but not required.
- At least DIP CII, or ideally ACII qualified.
- At least 5 years’ experience with a broker, insurer, lawyer, or loss adjuster handling claims.
