Job Summary
Senior Civil – Wet Utilities Engineer for Major Projects responsible for leading civil/utilities components of large municipal and transportation infrastructure projects from concept through construction. Focus areas include water, wastewater, and stormwater systems integration with road and drainage works; provide design, specifications, reports, and proposals; mentor and resolve conflicts within multidisciplinary teams; oversee budgets, schedules, and client relationships; pursue new business opportunities in municipal infrastructure and public sector projects; lead RFQ/RFP proposals and maintain a client-focused, innovative delivery approach. Requires extensive municipal civil engineering experience, leadership across technical teams, and an engineering degree with Ing. or P.Eng. designation preferred; English fluency required with French as an asset; drivers license and familiarity with rail/transit projects are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering
- Ing. or P.Eng. designation preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering design, project management, or business development within the municipal sector
- Experience leading and managing teams of professionals
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Fluency in English; French considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Familiarity with rail and transit projects is an asset
