Senior Civil - Track Engineer

Job Summary
Lead internal Designers and Engineers to organize the technical team, manage input and design coordination between disciplines, and control the design path for track projects. Develop or verify technical scope, lead coordination meetings to address critical issues impacting external partners, and ensure specifications and standards are integrated. Serve as the liaison between site and engineering disciplines during construction, responsible for reviewing shop drawings and holding accountability for the final track design result. Based in any GTA office (Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, or Whitby) on a hybrid schedule of three days in-office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's (B.Sc.) degree or equivalent
- Professional Engineer licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario
- 15+ years' experience similar or related experience
- Demonstrable experience in the development and design of rail and transit track in a 3D environment, including complex alignments, junctions, turnouts and crossovers
- Detailed understanding of Canadian Rail Codes and Standards, including (but not limited to) AREMA, CN, CPKC, and Metrolinx Track Standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team building and mentoring skills
- Join us in office, 3 days a week
- This role can be based in any of our GTA offices - Toronto, Mississauga, Markham or Whitby
