Job Summary
Senior Civil Project Manager role in Columbia, SC, leading site development and infrastructure initiatives for water, sewer, and storm drainage. Responsibilities include stewarding multiple projects’ lifecycles, managing client relationships, developing proposals and fees, coordinating internal and external teams, mentoring engineers, monitoring budgets and schedules, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. Requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), a PE license, 12+ years of relevant experience, and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills; leadership and business-development capabilities are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Active Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 12+ years of progressive experience in design and management of public and private civil site projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, with preference for Civil 3D workflows
- Leadership experience in complex engineering projects and mentoring junior staff
