Job Summary
Manage and oversee the design and construction of public works projects including roadways, drainage systems, and water utility pipelines. Requires strong project management and design experience, with the ability to lead teams and manage clients. Seeking candidates with at least 12 years of experience, a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, and a Texas P.E. License. Candidates should possess strong technical writing skills, project proposal experience, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Texas, or transferable within 2 months
- At least 12 years of experience in utility and public works design
- Good technical writing and communication skills
- Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development and staffing projections
- Experience in producing winning project proposals as lead professional/project manager
- Strong ability to train and mentor staff
- Must be proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Positive attitude, self-directed
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
