Job Summary
Lead site development and civil engineering projects by developing engineering project documents, preparing fee proposals and contracts, and overseeing design for grading, drainage, sewer, water, and road systems. Coordinate design details with drafting teams, review submittals and observation reports, and manage construction support services while evaluating service requests and coordinating permit responses. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and build client relationships to support business development and repeat work. Requires a PE license and 10+ years of experience. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience
- Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university
- PE license required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers
- Effective communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Demonstrated ability to market yourself and DCI to new and existing clients
- Proven client relationship skills with the ability to support business development and pursuit of new work
