Job Summary
Lead site development and civil engineering projects by developing engineering documents, preparing fee proposals, and overseeing design for grading, drainage, sewer, and road systems. Coordinate with drafting teams to manage construction document requirements, review submittals, and communicate with contractors during construction. Direct workload scheduling, evaluate service requests, and coordinate permit responses while maintaining strong relationships with clients to support repeat work and business development. Requires a PE license, 10 years of experience, and strong time management skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience
- Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university
- PE license required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with BIM Designers
- Effective communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Demonstrated ability to market yourself and DCI to new and existing clients
- Proven client relationship skills with the ability to support business development and pursuit of new work
