Job Summary
Senior Civil Engineer role within WSP's Regulated Water Asset Design team focusing on AMP8 water sector capital investment programmes. Responsibilities include: taking ownership of project delivery (health & safety, technical, quality, schedule, budget), managing multi-disciplinary teams, shaping service delivery and identifying opportunities across UK and overseas, building client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction, contributing to innovative approaches, digital products, and Future Ready/Net Zero initiatives, acting as an ambassador for best practice, undertaking bid preparation and resource/budget development, line management and development of graduates and apprentices, contributing to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering team, and continuing development of technical, managerial, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status or significant progression towards ICE or CIWEM
- Experience in managing engineering design teams
- Experience delivering projects within budget and schedule
- Experience in mentoring junior staff
- Client-facing experience
- Strong communication skills
