Job Summary
Lead and manage roadway design projects and project delivery teams from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Serve as the Engineer of Record for assigned projects while developing and managing office and project-level budgets. Execute business development initiatives to identify new opportunities, retain existing clients, and grow the transportation engineering backlog. Develop comprehensive project management plans including risk assessments, quality assurance protocols, schedules, and reporting for all programs. This role requires a self-motivated "seller-doer" with 10+ years of transportation engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Based in the Memphis TN vicinity, the position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $140,000 USD with potential relocation expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school
- 10+ Years of transportation engineering experience
- Current Professional Engineering registration in the State of Mississippi OR current Professional Engineer another U.S. State with the ability to successfully obtain registration in the State of Mississippi within one year from date of application submittal to SOL
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally with internal and external partners including clients, sub consultants and utility companies
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Very organized, dependable, and professional
- Proficiency at producing construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation
