Senior Civil Engineer (Temporary) - Guam

Job Summary
Monitor predrilling, indicator pile installation, production-pile installation, restrikes, and pile load testing onsite at a US Naval Base. Document installation activities, equipment, pile identification, and penetration resistance while maintaining daily field records, logs, and photographs. Evaluate observations against project specifications and communicate unexpected subsurface conditions or deviations to the Contractor's QC Manager. Coordinate with the QC team, testing agencies, and Government representatives for preparatory and technical meetings. Review pile-driving records and assist with technical letters and project documentation. Perform other duties consistent with the CQC Geotechnical Specialist assignment. This temporary assignment begins in fall 2026 and continues through Q2 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as Professional Engineer in a U.S. state or territory
- At least 10 years of licensed and registered engineering experience
- At least 8 years of responsible-charge experience in geotechnical engineering practice involving predrilling, pile driving, and pile load testing
- Physically able to work long days in the field in hot and humid weather conditions
- Ability to satisfy applicable federal installation access requirements
