Job Summary
Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects from concept through completion, preparing designs for commercial and federal construction while ensuring compliance with U.S. military and federal requirements. Develop grading, drainage, utility, and site layout plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and conduct site visits to support field operations. Resolve technical design issues, mentor junior staff, and manage project quality, schedule, and budget expectations. Assist with process improvements and departmental growth initiatives. Requires a P.E. license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Salary range $125,000–$175,000 with hybrid flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, project delivery, or related industrial construction projects
- At least 6 years of experience focused on grading, drainage, and utility design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Evidence of identity
- U.S. work authorization
- Successful completion of a drug screening
- Successful completion of a commercial criminal background check
- Successful completion of a Department of Defense background check
