Senior Civil Engineer (Maintenance)

Job Summary
Prepare and maintain civil maintenance SOPs, procedures, inspection checklists, and work instructions for all airport civil assets. Conduct routine inspections and condition assessments of airside and landside infrastructure, managing the pavement maintenance program from defect prioritization to repair planning and closure coordination. Coordinate outsourced maintenance activities, specialist agencies, and contractors while supervising preventive and corrective works. Maintain accurate CMMS records of inspections, defects, test results, and pavement condition trends. Support management of defects during the Defect Liability Period and provide technical assistance to operations and safety teams on airside work planning and operational handback matters. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with 7-10 years of professional experience in pavement engineering and airport infrastructure maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7-10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, infrastructure maintenance, pavement engineering, or airport / transport infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience in pavement condition assessment, defect classification, repair planning, and maintenance programming
- Very good command of English and Greek language, both oral and written
- Strong documentation, coordination, contractor management, and technical reporting skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong team orientation and goal-driven mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, or Asset Management
- Experience in airside pavement maintenance for runway, taxiway, apron, or other heavy-duty pavement areas
- Experience in friction monitoring of road or airside pavements
