Job Summary
Lead a multidisciplinary team on multimodal land development projects by utilizing project management skills to plan, organize, and direct work activities, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with engineering staff, municipalities, and clients while developing client relationships in residential and commercial markets. Manage projects to ensure consistency with established processes, schedules, and design criteria, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Mentor and train professional and graduate engineers while participating in business development, proposal preparation, and client meetings to grow the network. Work with senior management to develop strategies for increasing market share.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Land Development design or construction management
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Minnesota
- Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects
- Strong relationships and contacts with residential/commercial developers, municipal staff and other regulatory agencies
- Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Strong project management skills
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in team environment is essential
- The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
