Job Summary
Senior Civil Engineer to lead the Site Design Team in Columbia, SC. Lead project consulting, site planning, design, permitting, and engineering services; mentor engineers and technical staff; oversee bidding, construction administration, field testing, and client communications. Drive site design including grading, drainage, stormwater management, water/sewer systems, pump stations, erosion control, SWPPP, and technical reporting; prepare cost estimates and support bidding; manage schedules, budgets, and scope; facilitate client meetings and public engagement; ensure quality control and compliance with standards; leverage Autodesk Civil 3D, SEDCAD, and PCSWMM; role requires PE and 10+ years of design experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) is required
- Minimum of 10 years design experience in site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and permitting
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, SEDCAD, and PCSWMM
