Job Summary
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead and manage the design of civil engineering projects including site development, grading, stormwater management, roadways, and utility systems. You will conduct site evaluations, design calculations, feasibility analyses, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with various stakeholders. The role involves mentoring junior engineers, maintaining project compliance, and overseeing multiple projects. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an active PE license, and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee, or ability to obtain within six months.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with emphasis on site development and infrastructure projects.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard design software.
- Strong understanding of stormwater design, grading, and utility systems.
