Job Summary
Senior Civil Engineer on HSH Construction Services in Boston office. Responsibilities include preparation of design drawings, technical reports, construction plans, and management of construction projects in the field, along with construction inspection and supervision of junior staff. Role anticipates a split between field work and office/remote work. Hybrid-office environment requires at least one day per week in the Boston office; remaining workweek includes site visits and work-from-home or other offices. Required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; 8+ years of civil engineering experience; proficiency with AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to interpret sketches and calculations; some night/weekend work may be required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering (field and design)
- P.E. preferred or ability to obtain within twelve months
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, notes, calculations and verbal instructions; create multidiscipline engineering drawings
- Experience with AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as an individual contributor
- Some night, overnight, and weekend work may be required
