Job Summary
Lead the design and development of bulk water supply systems and sewer infrastructure, including pipelines, pumping stations, and wastewater treatment works. Develop feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical specifications while coordinating with other disciplines to oversee projects from inception to completion. Manage the team through mentorship, handle risk and contracts, and ensure compliance with national and international standards. Perform financial planning, manage stakeholder engagement, and engage in integrated water resources management. Requires a registered PrEng or PrTechEng with minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years at a senior level.
Required Qualifications
- BSc. Eng. (Civil) / B.Eng. Civil or BTech Civil or equivalent
- SAQA verification
- Registered with ECSA as PrEng or PrTechEng
- Minimum 10 years or more of relevant experience
- At least 3 years at a senior level
- Experience in bulk water and sewer project design and implementation
- Civil 3D or Civil Designer or WaterGEMS
- AutoCAD
- MS Projects
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
- Project Management Registration (SACPCMP)
