Senior Civil Engineer - Birmingham

Job Summary
Conduct site plan layout, geometrics, grading, pavement design, and utility design for high-profile land development projects. Prepare permit applications, cost estimates, and record drawings while performing construction administration tasks and conducting field visits. Assist architects, developers, and real estate professionals in traffic plans and stormwater management within a team environment led by a Project Manager. Work independently on various engineering projects with potential for a hybrid schedule up to two days remotely. Required Qualifications
- an engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience
- At least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
- Must have experience in AutoCAD software
- Exposure to Municipal and/or Private Development projects
Desired Qualifications
- PE licensure in Michigan (or seeking to obtain)
- Experience in Civil3D
- Experience with water and sanitary design
- Experience with WaterCAD or WaterGems
- Experience working with MDOT Local Agency Programs
