Job Summary
Manage and produce civil design and construction drawings across commercial, residential, industrial, and public infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Conduct grading, drainage, paving, water, and sewer design with precision, while collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and sub-consultants to ensure alignment during project kickoffs and design charrettes. Lead construction drawing completion by delegating tasks, reviewing checklists, and performing QC on all assigned sheets. Prepare quantity take-offs, exhibits, and detailed cost estimates to support proposals, and review surveys and consultant drawings to improve accuracy. Mentor junior drafters and designers to develop the next generation of civil design talent while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Land Development
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Deep knowledge of civil infrastructure design including grading, drainage, paving, water, and sewer systems
- Strong ability to interpret and integrate consultant drawings, reports, and survey data into construction documents
- Proven record of managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- A collaborative, proactive, and professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
