Job Summary
Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals while supporting care plans to help young people achieve their goals. Lead by example and support junior colleagues on shift, promoting a safe, clean, and happy home environment. Encourage learning, development, and independence in every child while keeping records up to date with care and professionalism. Full UK driving licence required for transporting young people and attending external meetings. Full time role with shift patterns including sleep ins (2-on, 4-off).
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 months experience in residential childcare
- A Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (or an accepted equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence
- A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to care
- Ability to work shift patterns including sleep ins
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices
