Job Summary
Support young people in therapeutic residential placements with domestic needs, education, and socialisation skills through a person-centred approach. Facilitate fun activities including football, boxing, and excursions while coordinating school-based personalised education plans. Maintain full knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practices across all care settings. Ensure safe recruitment compliance, including enhanced disclosure checks and reference verifications. Requires 12 months residential care experience, Level 3 Diploma, UK driving licence, and right to work. Full-time role with 2 days on 4 days off rotation and 365-day service coverage.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- A Full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
