Job Summary
Senior Children's Residential Support Worker with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and a UK driving licence. Role involves nurturing, supportive childcare in a group home near Buxton, delivering domestic support, education, and socialisation activities for young people in therapeutic placements. Key duties include building positive relationships, providing care aligned with Ofsted standards, managing 2 days on/4 days off shifts (365 days a year with sleep nights), and supporting HSE-compliant care while facilitating activities (crafts, baking, singing) and excursions. salary in the £35,848–£38,028 per annum range (plus sleep-night pay) with overtime opportunities; benefits include induction training, progression routes, and a birthday day off.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- A Full driving licence issued in the UK
