Job Summary
Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker responsible for leading a staff team in a Children’s Home, supporting young people with SEMH needs, ensuring smooth home operations, deputising for Team Leaders, providing compassionate, emotionally resilient leadership, building relationships with young people, and overseeing care delivery with a strong focus on safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being. Role involves coordinating shifts, supporting colleagues, fostering a positive environment, delivering a 4-week Care Academy induction, and enabling career progression within the care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to study
- UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
- DBS check (enhanced)
