Job Summary
Senior Child Development Leader provides direct supervision and care for a group of children, prepares and implements developmentally appropriate activities, maintains attendance and safety, serves as a positive role model, communicates progress with parents, attends training, and performs other related duties as assigned. Requires a warm, reliable, and respectful demeanor; ability to lift or separate children as needed; adherence to child-abuse reporting procedures; and ability to work at the assigned location in St. Petersburg, FL, with standard hours and event-based hiring activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma plus 6 ECE credits recognized by the PCLB with 1 year teaching experience in an agency serving children
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- I-9 documents and highest form of education to event
- DCF background screening, negative TB test, pre-employment drug screening, fitness for duty exam
