Job Summary
Lead development of new adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations for automotive and industrial applications, adapting global recipes for local manufacturing while driving innovation in e-Mobility and battery solutions. Design and execute laboratory experiments, validate test methods, and interpret data to prepare technical reports. Manage product development projects from concept to scale-up, coordinating cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, and Global R&D. Provide technical support for customer trials, investigate performance issues, and ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and information security standards. Maintain accurate documentation of all experimental work and project activities.
Required Qualifications
- Master or PhD degree in Chemistry, Polymer, Materials Science or Engineering related fields
- 5-10 years of experience in specialty chemicals
- Experience in polyurethane or epoxy chemistries
- Strong expertise in polymer chemistry
- Project management
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Strict documentation
- Compliance with safety and quality standards
- High information security for proprietary data
- 8-10 years' experience in R&D, Application Test, customer support, technical service in relevant market field of Specialty Chemicals, Adhesives and Sealants
- Polyurethane chemistries (preferable)
- Strong technical background in chemistry
- Polymer chemistry
- Organic chemistry
- Material science
- Hands on experience in product development of adhesive, sealants and coatings
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Good communication in English
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong background in Project Management
- Proficient in MS Office
