Job Summary
Senior Change Specialist (Contract) role based in Vancouver, BC, hybrid work arrangement, focusing on leading end-to-end change management for multi-workstream transformation programs within Teck Resources’ Technology & Innovation initiatives. Responsibilities include change impact analysis, change strategy and communications planning, resistance management, adoption metrics, and facilitating workshops; mentorship and advisory support for senior leaders; translating technical concepts into accessible language; delivering OCM-related training; continuously improving methodology; and ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Requires 10+ years of change management experience, PROSCI certification, ERP/IT transformation experience, and senior-level communication and facilitation skills. The position is for an initial 6-month term as a contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in organizational change management
- University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering or a related field
- PROSCI Change Management certification
- Experience leading change across ERP or large IT transformation programs
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Experience engaging with executive and senior leadership
- Spanish language proficiency
- Experience in mining, utilities, energy, or similar resource fields
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
