Job Summary
Senior Certification Program Manager owns Tekion Certified credential program end-to-end, designing and developing item banks and exam content across 3–5 tracks for 2,000–5,000 learners. Responsibilities include configuring and managing certification LMS platforms (Caveon Scorpion, SkillJar), leading cut score and psychometric processes (Angoff), maintaining content, developing program policies and communications, and delivering certification reporting across platforms. Collaborates with Professional Services, Product Management, and implementation teams; builds net-new credential content aligned to product evolution; performs needs assessment, prioritization, and roadmap execution. Also responsible for learning measurement and analytics, defining what to measure, creating dashboards, tailoring reporting for multiple audiences, identifying content gaps, and supporting program improvements. Provides formal training to internal teams, coaching, and adaptable delivery; demonstrates strong data skills (Excel, Power BI/Tableau), and experience coordinating with SMEs and stakeholders across departments; background in SaaS or enterprise software certification programs and automotive industry a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing certification exams and programs
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms and certification development and delivery platforms; SkillJar, Caveon and Scorpion proficiency a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data management and reporting workflows
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted content development workflows
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Experience coordinating with SMEs and stakeholders across multiple departments
