Job Summary
Senior Category Manager responsible for executing sourcing strategies and managing technology sourcing for Software, SaaS, and Generative AI needs. Manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, coordinates RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, analyzes spend and pricing models, and supports procurement best practices across cross-functional teams. Requires BA/BS in relevant field, 5-10 years' experience, knowledge of software licensing, cloud concepts, and strong contract negotiation skills; hybrid work arrangement (three days/wk in office) in Atlanta, GA and Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance
- 5-10 years experience or equivalent
- Technical education or knowledge of Software, SaaS licensing and Public Cloud
- Strong understanding of legal concepts related to contract negotiations
- Experience negotiating AI solutions; token-based pricing / consumption models
- Experience using RFx development and execution (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and negotiating terms with major software projects
