Job Summary
The Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst will drive the strategy and delivery of US&CA catastrophe modelling analytics and advisory solutions. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, project delivery governance, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of innovation. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in catastrophe modelling and re/insurance portfolio analytics, proficiency in vendor models, and strong leadership skills. Communication and talent management are critical to succeed in this role.
Required Qualifications
- 2-10 years of experience in managing mid to large sized teams
- Significant experience in managing catastrophe modelling teams especially in re/insurance portfolio analytics and placements
- Leading expertise on the operation of key vendor models (Moody’s RMS, Verisk AIR, CoreLogic RQE)
- Excellent communication skills to own interactions with onshore leaders
- Proven track record of managing model adoption & change management process for re/insurers
- Ability to attract, grow and retain key talent
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant market certifications e.g. ACII, CPCU, ARe
