Job Summary
Provide specialist case management and consultation for young people facing complex challenges including homelessness, family violence, and mental health concerns. Demonstrate a strong commitment to working within a trauma and psychologically informed environment while ensuring support aligns with the Journey to Independence Model of Care. Work as a member of the Outer South leadership team to ensure service practice is compliant with risk, safety, and governance expectations. Support staff through expert guidance on complex cases, risk management, and critical incidents. Collaborate with key stakeholders to strengthen service integration and outcomes for vulnerable young people across the Gippsland region. Report to the Outer South Program Manager in a permanent full-time on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or related field
- A minimum of three years' experience in a social service environment preferably in the youth sector
- Working knowledge of the challenges, risk, screening process and supervision
- A current Employee Working with Children Check
- A current VIC Driver's Licence
- Permanent full-time position, based on-site in Leongatha, VIC
