Job Summary
The Senior Case Manager provides direct assistance to victims of crime and abuse, focusing on survivors of intimate partner and family violence. This role involves conducting safety assessments, providing crisis intervention, advocating for public entitlements, and maintaining accurate case records. The position requires sensitivity to victimization, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant social service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services etc.) or equivalent experience preferred
- At least three years of prior direct service experience in a social service setting required
- Experience working with survivors of intimate partner and family violence and other victims of crime
