Job Summary
Provide effective, strengths-based case management and employment support by maintaining regular engagement with clients using culturally sensitive, individualised approaches. Connect clients to resources, training, and support services that promote job readiness while accurately documenting interactions and maintaining comprehensive case notes. Support and contribute to a collaborative team culture through culturally appropriate, person-centred strategies that empower individuals to overcome barriers to employment. This role requires a current C Class driver's licence, National Police Certificate, and WA Working with Children Check, with experience supporting clients facing complex needs including disability, mental health, and homelessness. Based in Halls Creek, Western Australia, you will join a purpose-driven organisation committed to strengthening communities across the Kimberley.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs, including disability, mental health, homelessness, substance use, or family and domestic violence
- Demonstrated ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities
- Understanding of the social and economic challenges impacting rural and remote communities
- Strong case management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience maintaining accurate records and using client management databases
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (or willingness to obtain)
- A current C Class driver's licence (essential)
- Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia
- Applicants will also be required to provide a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or obtain a new one in order to be considered
