Job Summary
Develop high-quality Interior and Exterior digital models using Autodesk Alias Studio, building and refining surfaces from sketches, engineering packages, and Designer-generated digital models. Create single-span surfaces with logical patch layouts to support efficient collaboration and downstream development, while preparing Alias data for design reviews, visualization, milling, 3D printing, and vendor releases. Support physical model creation by delivering production-ready digital data and adapting quickly to evolving project schedules and late-stage changes. Work closely with Designers, Engineers, and Visualization teams throughout the vehicle development process to bring innovative concepts to life.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years at an automotive OEM
- Proficient in Autodesk Alias Studio
- Ability to read and understand Engineering criteria
- Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- BS, BFA, MS, MFA or Diploma in Transportation / Product Design is a plus
