Job Summary
Senior Career Advancement Specialist delivers individualized and group-based career readiness, employment, and collegiate pathway services; provides 1:1 job development, job coaching, and career planning support; conducts assessments to support growth; integrates independent living, self-advocacy, soft skills, and workplace readiness; supports participants in developing natural supports for independence; provides transportation to employment-related activities; develops relationships with community employers and collegiate partners; expands competitive and integrated employment opportunities; facilitates job shadowing and workforce exposure; monitors job performance and satisfaction; maintains a 35-hour weekly quota; participates in onboarding and training of new specialists; leads monthly best-practice meetings; designs and evaluates one new employment-related initiative per quarter; submits daily billing and documentation; collects data for ISP/Life Plan goals and employment outcomes; collaborates with Case Management; participates in ISP/Life Plan meetings; communicates with families; maintains flexible hours and coordination with management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Massachusetts Driver's License and clean driving record
- Personal vehicle required
- Must clear state and federal background check
- First Aid/CPR and Safety Care or willingness to become certified
- One to Three years of Human Services job placement experience preferred
- Some Marketing and/or Sales experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and write documents
